For a while now the Kenyan air has been polluted with negative stories of two wonder kid singers who have been embroiled in controversies ranging from theft to neglecting parents.

Bahati shocked everyone when he launched a scathing attack on Willy Paul a month ago, accusing him of stealing his songs.

Willy Paul made headlines less than a week ago for all the wrong reasons when his biological mother opened up on how her son had neglected her to and abandoned her in Mathare slums to live on the first lane.

These and many more have seen allegiance to the two singers dwindle greatly, with their careers seemingly jeopardized to a greater extent.

And now KBC’s dynamic duo of Bonnie Musambi and Cynthia Anyango embarked on conducting a poll early today where they asked listeners to vote on who between Bahati and Willy Paul is the best singer.

Contrary to what many thought and perhaps what others expected, Bahati emerged top, garnering a staggering 76% of the total calls and tweets send today morning. Willy Paul got 24% of the votes.
