BBC Now Looking For The Skeptical Child In This Viral Meme (Photos)

His photo has been used in different contexts to crack all manner of jokes. While the child became global sensation, no one gave a damn about him till now.

Westerners call him the ‘Skeptical Third World Child’. Most folks can’t hide their laughter seeing the peculiar way he looks at the white lady who was photographed with him.

British broadcaster has all over sudden developed interest on the Skeptical child. BBC Trending did some digging on him but they haven’t located him yet.

BBC tracked down the woman in the picture; she is a 28-year-old American doctor by the name Heena Pranav. At the time when the photo was taken, in 2012, Heena had travelled to Uganda to help an aid project for women traumatized by the country’s war with the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA).

So the skeptical child is Ugandan. And Kenyans have used his photos a million times that I thought he came from somewhere in Kariobangi.

Anyhow, BBC can’t pinpoint the exact location of the Skeptical child since Dr. Heena only met him in a market in Northern Uganda and she didn’t even know her parents.

BBC wants the child to benefit from his photo so is since Dr. Heena. If you know about the Skeptical Child’s whereabouts, contact BBC at [email protected]
