Bahati explains why he Recycled the Outfit He Wore at Groove Awards 2013 at this Year’s Awards’ Ceremony
Gospel whizkid, Bahati, wore a black trouser with white shirt and a black tie matched with an African printed blazer at Groove Awards 2013 to receive his New Artist of the Year Award. The young Gospel star dusted off the outfit during this year’s Groove Awards where he was crowned Male Artiste of the Year.
Trivial as it seems, Bahati’s fans were all over his timeline asking to know why he recycled the same clothes he had at Groove Awards last year.

But because he’s a people’s person, the award-winning singer responded to his fans via a Facebook post. He explains;
“Good evening loyal people I must first agree that you guys really made my Sunday when I heard that we are taking the award home #MALE_ARTIST_GROOVE_AWARDS —- The reason I wore the same Clothes during the speech as last year is to show God that am still the same Kid He honoured 11 months as the New Artist of the Year 2013….. But I believe I am not the reason I have this but its for you #TeamBahati… Each day of my life I work hard to represent the #East_Land_Voice to the World and make #Every_African_Child_Believe YOU CAN BE ANYTHING NO MATTER WHERE YOU COME FROM!!!!! I believe we just started… will meet Happy & Trying Moments– I DON’T PROMISE TO BE PERFECT BUT WILL GIVE MY BEST to make GOD & #TEAM_BAHATI #TEAM_CONVEX Proud!!!! How many Promise to walk with me through the journey????”
