Babu Owino And Hon. Steve Mbogo Shock The Residents Of Mathare With The Most Amazing January Gift Ever! (Photos)
After a fierce fire ravaged the properties of the lowly residents of Mlango in Mathare Constituency,throwing their lives in peril,SONU President and also aspiring Member of Parliament Babu Owino descended onto the area with goodies meant for the victims of the deadly fire.
The area residents,who lost property worth hundreds of thousands of Shillings were stunned Friday morning when a buoyant Babu Owino,accompanied by controversial Moneyman Steve Mbogo,showed up at their homes to help lift their lives up and help them reconstruct their homes and lives after the fire.
Babu Owino,who also is vying for the Westlands Parliamentary seat,and who also serves as the chair of the Powerful student body SONU,distributed clothing,beddings,foodstuff and other things to the excited residents of Mlango area.
Babu also took time to give a little speech to the overjoyed residents who thanked him profusely for moving with speed and helping them crawl back from the vagaries of a fire and a deadly one at that.
Babu,who was accompanied by a huge entourage,even surprisingly gave a little sermon quoting the Biblical Job and also taking time to inspire the residents with verses straight from the Bible,reminding them of God’s faithfulness and asking them to never lose hope as a pensive Steve Mbogo looked on.

In related news,Babu was in Ruaraka this afternoon in the company of his crew where,alongside Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero,he got to participate in a fundraiser for the construction of a Church in the area.
Babu contributed an unknown amount of money for the Church and was also photographed kneeling down for a prayer session much to the joy of the gathered worshippers.
