Baba Amekula Teargas! Raila Odinga Tear-gassed As He Attempts To Storm Into IEBC Offices (Photos)

Drama was witnessed at Anniversary Towers as police forcefully stopped Cord brigade from accessing the building.

Opposition had planned to invade The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) offices at Anniversary Towers in protest of the electoral body’s cancellation of Cord’s Okoa Kenya referendum quest.

Cord’s principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetangula today evening led their supporters in demonstrating against IEBC at their office.

Police were however stationed in and around Anniversary Towers to stop cord leaders and their supporters from accessing the building.

Drama unfolded when the police were forced to use teargas canisters to disperse the crowd that was cramming around Anniversary Towers.

Cord leaders were not spared by the choking fumes of the teargas canisters that were thrown at them. They were forced to abort their mission as the fumes were too much to stomach.
