Azonto Star Coming to Kenya to Perform for Free
Fuse ODG, the artiste behind the very successful Azonto, will be coming to Kenya for a performance at the Tuko Rada Peace Festival.
The UK-based Ghanian will headline the concert together with Jamaican roots, dancehall and world music star, Chronixx. The event is coordinated in close partnership with the National Youth Bunge Association.
The NYBA Concert for Peace and Unity, Tuko Rada Peace Festival is a music festival, with multiple acts across a range of genres appealing to the diversity of the youth demographic in Kenya. Others to perform includes Juliani, Wyre and Nameless, just to mention but a few.
As part of Mercy Corps’ commitment to promoting peace prior to, during and after the elections across a number of programs, one being hosting one of the biggest concerts this year on the 16th February, with an estimated attendance of over 10,000 Kenyan youth at the KICC Courtyard with several road shows going round the country promoting peace amongst the youth.
Utilizing entertainment as a driving vehicle to bring together, engage and inform youth that they are the positive agents of change for Kenya and have the power to greatly influence how the election should be managed peacefully.
The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at KICC with an audience of a primary mix of youth from the county and national NYBA members from across the region. Entry is free.
