Award-winning app for Lifestyle and Events Launched

Kenya’s leading events and lifestyle media, KenyaBuzz.com, will be officially launching KenyaBuzz Raha, a mobile phone application for people who want to know what is happening on the rapidly growing entertainment scene in Kenya.

A first of its kind in the country, KenyaBuzz Raha is packed with information. The app is powered by the KenyaBuzz website which has, for the past seven years, been informing its audience on events, lifestyle, movies, sports and more. The app filters the website for only the information needed on the go, making it Kenya’s most comprehensive, convenient and reliable local entertainment guide.

With the slogan ‘Fun at your Fingertips’, KenyaBuzz Raha gives its users the ability to:
•    Search events by city and area, date, or type of event including- art exhibitions, festivals/craft fairs, films, kids events, live music events, nightlife, photography, fashion, sports, theater, dance, yoga/meditation, campus events and much more.
•    Check the movie listings by movie or theater for all movie theaters throughout Kenya.
•    Search for restaurants by city, area, or cuisine.
•    Find other fun including bars and nightclubs, sightseeing spots, spas, casinos, recreation activities and other fun and interesting places in Kenya. 

The app has been on the market for Android phone users since June 2013. During this time, Kenyabuzz Raha was honoured with the ‘Google Innovation in Tourism Award for 2013-2014’. The launch marks the availability of the app to the Windows mobile phone users.

The application can be downloaded free of charge on the Google Play Store, the Samsung App store, the Safaricom App store and the Windows Phone Store.
