Avril Sets the Record Straight about Her Relationship with Citizen TV’s Lulu Hassan’s Husband

So yesterday we did a story on a photo that gorgeous singer and songwriter, Avril, had posted on her Instagram. As usual when we write we receive a hoard of mixed reaction about the story and this was in no way different.

The photo (below) showed Avril hanging out with Q FM’s Rashid Abdalla who is Citizen TV’s Lulu Hassan’s husband.

Unfortunately a section of readers decided to let their imaginations run and deduced all manner of theories that suggested Rashid was eyeing the ‘Hakuna Yule’ singer. However, she has since come out to set the record straight.

“Let me put things straight, I have a working relationshp wth Rashid. I was at AM Live and Rynoh called me for an interview before taking me to the Q FM studios after which we took a few photos.

“I am not seeing any man; I am not dating or having side plates whatsoever. Sorry for the damage the story has brought to my fans and Rashid.”

Now all the hullabaloo can die down.
