Atlanta-based Kenyan Rapper Threatened by Angry Mob in Nairobi on Child Molestation (Mis)Allegations
Atlanta-based Kenyan rapper over the weekend got in trouble when a violent and angry mob confronted him baying for his blood on allegations that he had used a child for sexual stimulation.
Drama started when the fuming mob armed with rungus, stones and even machetes charged to the scene of a video shoot where Danny Kay was shooting his latest video, “Raised from Hell” chanting war-like songs sending the rapper and the crew into a panic mode.
Unknown to the charged mob, this was a scene in Danny Kay’s video in which he was supposed to simulate a child sexual stimulation which arose very curious suspicion considering this was all happening as “adults watched”.
Within seconds, the scene was flooded by curious onlookers who alerted the attention of the by-passers who immediately informed the police. It wasn’t long before angry members of the public started baying for Danny’s blood threatening to deal with him before police arrive at the scene.
It took the intervention of the crew to calm the mob and make lengthy explanations that this was just a music video shoot and that no one was being injured in the process.
Danny Kay confesses, “We were just going about our business in the house not knowing we were attracting interest from outside, however this is a good sign to us, I guess this means the actors played their role so well that when people heard the on goings in the house they actually thought it was real.”
Danny Kay is signed to Candy n Candy Records and in this particular video, he’s depicting the story of a young girl who is molested by her very own dad and her dysfunctional mother isn’t doing much to help as she is an exotic dancer and drunkard.
