As MPs Dress In School Uniforms In Support Of Teachers, Margaret Wanjiru Was Doing The Complete Opposite In Kayole (Photos)

Today, a section of Kenyan politicians borrowed a leave from KCB’s back to school stunt and decided to don school uniforms in support for teachers.

Striking teachers have secured the support of Cord politicians in their push for 50-60% pay rise that the Supreme Court thought they deserved even thought the government claims it has no money to implement.

The opposition side rocked school uniforms as they joined striking teachers to hold a public rally at Uhuru Park.

While CORD politicians were supporting teachers’ demands, Nairobi gubernatorial hopeful, Bishop Margaret Wanjiru, hit the streets in Kayole to campaign against teacher’s salary increment push.

The Jesus Is Alive Ministries’ founder based her argument on President Uhuru’s revelation that Teachers’ pay rise would force the government to increase VAT by 6% in order get the money to pay them.
