Appeal: Help a Journalist in Distress
Paul Mugo Wakaba needs your help.
The Kenya Institute of Mass Communication (KIMC) alumnus has a failed kidney and urgently requires medication out of the country.
Paul’s dreams to make it in journalism has been met by a stumbling block, after an underlying problem he had, resulted in his kidneys failing. Paul reveals that since he fell sick, he had been diagnosed with many ailments and treated for them, without much change, until 3 years ago when the doctor revealed he had kidney failure.
He needs to fly to India for surgery, a procedure that will cost him Ksh2.5 million, an amount he cnt raise alone since he’s no longer working due to his condition.
