Another Tragedy! An Explosion At NYS College In Gilgil Leaves 108 Rookies Injured (Photos)

The National Youth Service (NYS) has been hit by a tragedy that has resulted to the injury of more than a hundred rookies!

A transformer explosion at NYS training school in Gilgil resulted to a stampede that caused the injury of rookies.

Daily Nation puts the figure of injured recruits at 108 while Citizen TV reported that 88 rookies were injured during the wild rush.

Some of the injured recruits were rushed to the Rift Valley Provincial General Hospital in Nakuru town for treatment.

The incident happened today morning during a parade. Sources say four rookies caused the stampede when they ran towards a parade of thousands of her recruits.
