Another Mzungu Stranded In Kenya And Left Begging In The Streets After Being Conned 25 Million By Men In Samburu (Photo)
Kenya is quickly becoming a destination where rich visitors are getting fleeced off their hard earned money.
First, there was the Royal Saudi Prince who had entrusted two Kenyans with his millions for investment only for the two to end up squeezing him out of the company. Then came the German man who lost all his money down at the coast and now it is a woman who has discovered the Kenyan conman has no courtesy for guests.
Roselyn Toth a 60 year old Frenchman came to Kenya and was engaged to her Samburu boyfriend who convinced her that Maralal Town was a great place to invest in. He introduced her to a contractor who was t build for her a house and ended up paying 6.9 million up front. He would later stop any work on the building and later come and carry all materials and equipment bought and sell them at his hardware.
Her search for justice would take her to another conman she thought was a lawyer and end up seeing 7 million in legal fees go down the drain. Another 1 million was used on a lawyer who abandoned her case when he was elected as the MCA.
The lady now has an incomplete house and moves in the streets house to house begging for food. She is seeking help from the government to recover her money and property. Ruth says she has lost about 25 million and now has only money sent to her by a friend, which may just get to 4 months.
