Another Laudable Video from Talented Producer R Kay

East Africa’s most decorated music producer, R Kay, is well known for breaking big boundaries and crafting even bigger hits with his production smarts.

After a few huge hits under his name, the producer extraordinaire is back with another hit. This time working with fast-rising mellow singer, Jay Master, R Kay has proved that he still has what it takes to the best in the game.

Jay Master explains that this single, ‘Niko Na Mpenzi’ was inspired by a real-life experience.

“Niko Na Mpenzi ni real-life experience. After kusumbuana na ma-dame for years and several heartbreaks, nilipata THE ONE and that’s why na thank God for her in this song”, explains Jay Master.

The video, shot on location in Nairobi and at the Coast, features flamboyant rapper, Supasta Babyone and is rumoured to have cost something around Ksh300,000.

‘Niko Na Mpenzi’ is off a 12-track album titled ‘Najiamini’ set for release this year.
