And Jua Cali’s New Year’s Resolution is…

2013 should be a big year for Jua Cali. Every year that he released an album always has been. And so as the release date for Genge Yajayo approaches, Willy M. Tuva asked him what his New Year resolutions are.

The question obviously caught him off-guard, “Wacha nifikirie. Wacha tu niseme, niendelee kutia bidii. Kama ni kutoa video every three months, nataka Kuhakikisha hiyo kitu inafanyika (Let me think. Let me just say, I’ll continue working hard. If I decide to release a video every three months, I’ll make sure I commit to that).”

Genge Yajayo is expected to come out in either February or March. Tracks that have already been released from the record include Geti Kali (with Sana), Kuna Sheng and Si Siri (with Juliani).
