American series 24: Legacy uses actual scenes of the bloody Westgate Mall attack and claims it happened in Egypt

We all understand 24: Legacy is a fictional thriller series but when the producers decided to use actual CCTV footage of the terror attack at Westgate Mall, then there is a problem.

24: Legacy is a ‘byproduct’ of the popular series 24 which starred the famous Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland).

The new 24 series premiered on February 5, 2017 and is following the same theme- terrorism as Bauer’s 24.

24: Legacy episode 4 dubbed ‘3:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M.’ used the actual CCTV footage of the 2013 terror attack at Westgate Mall in Nairobi.

The characters are seen watching a video clip of they referred as a terror attack at a market in Alexandria, Egypt; they clip they were watching was the actual CCTV footage of the terror attack at Westgate Mall.
