Ali Joho Discusses Alleged Involvement In Drugs Business

Ali Hassan Joho has come quite a long way in his political journey.

Ever since he suffered a loss against Ananiah Mwamboza for the Kisauni MP seat back in a 2004 by-election he has grown from strength to strength. However, the rise from an election lose to MP, then Governor of Mombasa and Deputy Party Leader of ODM has not lacked its challenges and allegations of being a drug baron have dogged the politician seeking a stab at the presidency in 2022.

In an interview with KTN the Mombasa governor addressed the issue for the first time on live TV. He spoke of the distress that the allegations have caused him but said he is past that currently. He blamed the woes on a witch hunt and outlines his vision and plans both his parties and as governor for Mombasa. Here is a video of the interview
