Al Shabab Latest Gunmen Attack Kills Two On The Spot and Leave Scores Injured

The Al Shabaab menace continues to haunt Kenya especially the dreaded zone that is Northern Kenya.

Today’s attack happened on a bus ferrying about 50 passengers to Nairobi in the area around the Kotulo Dabasiti area in Mandera county. Police say the terrorists hijacked the bus and as usual split the passengers in two groups of Muslims and Christians before asking them to both step out.

However, both groups took off and the terrorists opened fire killing two people. The Bus had left the Kotulo area without security escort as is required and investigations have begun.

The toll is expected to rise given the injuries suffered. The victims were evacuated to Elwak Hospital.
