After The Launch of Inooro TV, Kenyans Now Have a Wide Selection of Entertainment As Two New Channels Are Launched
There are two new babies on the media block.
DStv yesterday launched two brand new music channels, TRACE Naija and TRACE Mziki, set to hit screens across East and West Africa, from today, Thursday 1 September. Viewers on the Premium, Compact + and Compact bouquets will be spoilt for choice with a wide selection of authentic African music and stars.
Channel 325, will be home to TRACE Naija, and will serve as the premiere destination for lovers of Afrobeats and the wider African music. The channel will feature music videos from the biggest names in West Africa, as well as from emerging artists. In addition, there will be themed countdown shows, video mixes from Africa’s biggest Djs, interactive shows much more.
Music lovers from East Africa can look forward to the best in contemporary East African music on TRACE Mziki, channel 323. The channel will feature music hits as well as exclusive specials, documentaries, Hip Hop, R&B, Afro Pop, Gospel, Reggae and the best Video Mixes. TRACE Mziki will also broadcast a selection of the best of “rest of Africa” and international urban acts that are massively popular in East Africa.
Both channels will offer a variety of content from localised shows such as “Guest Star” which puts the spotlight on today’s hottest African stars, “Focus”, “Urban Gossip” and Top 10 themed programming.
