After CNN, Forbes Magazine Mauls Kenya
The country is once again being clawed by an international news outlet. But this time round there are specks of truth in what is being propagated by Forbes Magazine.
Months ago, Kenyans were on the neck of CNN after the global broadcaster baptized the country ‘Hotbed of Terror’ few days before President Obama jetted in.
Two days ago, Forbes Magazine ran a screaming headline;
‘Corruption And ‘Tenderpreneurs’ Bring Kenya’s Economy To Its Knees’
I was eager to know why Forbes, a news outlet that is usually concerned with world’s billionaires whereabouts, was bad mouthing Kenya.
I read the article and by the time I was done, my furry had been watered down by the content. There was nothing defamatory in the article, just the bitter truth.
Let’s plunge into politics for a few seconds; lost NYS millions and now the Eurobond scandal (apparently Kes 140billion can’t be accounted for) are reasons enough to be worried.
