Adelle Launches Touch Your Twins (Boobs) Campaign

Mary Onyango (Adelle Onyango’s mother) passed away in March 2012. She was not only a commissioner with the National Cohesion & Integration Commission, but was also an active breast cancer awareness activist.

Her death was a blow to the whole family but even amidst mourning they have to keep her legend alive. In a bid to honor her birthday on Sunday, 24th of February, Adelle Onyango has launched a campaign dubbed Touch The Twins. This campaign is not limited to any medium of influence.

How Touch The Twins will work:

– Take a photo of yourself in a bra (feel free to decorate the bra in any breast cancer awareness pins you have) and post up the picture on your online platforms – Twitter, Facebook  or Instagram. A message to either the government, breast cancer survivors, breast cancer patients, general public should accompany the picture.
– Post up, on your online platforms a message to either the government, breast cancer survivors, breast cancer patients, general public should accompany the picture.
– Post up on your online platforms, awareness tips i.e how to perform a Breast Self Exam (BSE) or lifestyle changes one can make to reduce their risk of getting breast cancer.
– For those of you who knew Mary Onyango personally, you can post a message about her on your online platforms.

The campaign officially begins this Sunday and runs through to Friday, March 1st. There is no limit to how many posts you can put up. The official hashtag is #TouchTheTwins
