Abbas Faults Bamboo’s Salvation

Together they made one of the strongest bonds from Nairobi’s K-South hood. With their legendary hits, Bamboo and Abbas were simply inseparable; always hanging out together, dropping hits together and even having each other’s back. But who thought tables could be turned?

Recently, Rap Nairobi had a sit-down with the renowned rapper and sought his views about his mate’s salvation. Abbas, known for not mincing his words, spoke his mind.

“K-south was the beginning of many things so si regret him being saved. Na appreciate. Sasa itabidi nishikilie torch man-solo. Which I think nimehandle so far for the past 10 years Bamboo akiwa away. But it’s a pity kuna ngoma mingi tume kuwa tuki do na yeye un-released. Terrible thing to waste.

Bamboo is my boy sana lakini tunaweza agree amechanganyikiwa kidogo. My idea of getting saved doesn’t involve running to media with such Stunts. My idea of getting saved ni kuchange your ways from your heart in such a way that guys will notice your changes gradually because you’re not doing it for show off. Salvation comes when you reach the epitome of knowledge of self when you fully understand yourself. It’s a spiritual state not a physical slide-show and for the record we all know the almighty si mtu utamdanganya kama wewe ni mwongo.”

Abbas has spoken…
