A TV Worth Kshs. 1 Million Enters the Kenyan Market
Sharp Electronics has been a bit MIA in the Kenyan market in the last couple of years. Unless you’re in high school and in the market for calculators, you probably havent seen a new Sharp product in a while.
The electronics brand is making its comeback and using Kenya as a gateway into the region with new TVs and refrigerators. And nothing shows market understanding like a million shilling product in a third world country.
Sharp’s Aquos television has an 80 inch screen and goes Kshs. 1 million. With this new line, the brand looks to grow its market share to 20% by next year. Check out a trailer that came out before the Aquos’ launch below.
