The Radio Africa employee whose life was turned upside down overnight when damaging screen shots emerged online has now resigned from Radio Africa. Reports from the Radio Africa’s entertainment site Mpasho indicate that Evans Gikunda handed in his resignation following the extent of damage the leaked screenshots caused.

The screenshots had put the names and personalities of a number of Radio Africa staff in disrepute. This outcome had been expected and it seems Evans chose to be the one cutting the ties. It had been unimaginable seeing him continue working in such an environment.

Evan Gikunda has been serving as the Head of Innovations for the group.
