It appears our problems with the cash crunch do not just bother us alone, other countries in the continent too have become worried about the situation and are already making comparisons.
The pinching part is that the people doing these are from countries we hold as competitors in a number of sectors from entertainment to tourism and continental trade, transport and education. A top magazine is South Africa had a newspaper with a blaring headline questioning whether Kenya is Africa’s version of Greece. We all know the story of Greece and how it had to genuflect to European big economies to be bailed out. At these rate we won’t be singing sovereign any louder. Here is that photo of the newspaper;
