Celina, Naomi Nganga And Other Enraged Feminine Fire Back At Njoki Chege
Last Saturday, the vicious Njoki Chege was at it again. This time round it wasn’t Blue Subaru owners, not at all. The Daily Nation columnist fired explosive rounds of heavy artillery at fellow women.
Njoki once again attracted the attention of the entire country when she ran her article titled ‘Fat women, let’s tackle this elephant in the room’
Plus size 1 FM presenter, Naomi Nganga, was quick to fire back at Njoki terming her affront as an attack on a condition one had no biological control over.
Naomi says Njoki’s slur was a knockout blow for plus size ladies since most of them were grappling with low self-esteem.
“I am immensely disappointed. There are many families suffering, people struggling with self esteem issues, and rather than resolve this, she chooses to attack. There is no room for a plus size woman to be healthy and whole? Some of us can never be size 8, does that doom us?”
Her sentiments were echoed by Catherine Kamau popularly known as Celina who blasted her for carefully picking mean words to strip plus size women.
“ Her argument is correct but she didn’t have to use such mean words to address the issue . I hope she already has kids because some women’s bodies change completely. I agree with her that we shouldn’t sugar coat unhealthy feeding habits and lifestyles but damn!! BE HUMAN NJOKI.
