Married Rich Mzungu and Former Top CEO Arrested For Shooting Dead His Kenyan Girlfriend (Photos)

A white who has once served as the CEO of a top Internet and technology firm in the country has been arrested over the murder of a Kenyan woman.

Richard Alden, was arrested when he took Grace  Wangechi Kinyanjui to Karen Hospital. At the time he said that the victim has shot herself, however, preliminary investigations revealed a conflicting story with his.

Police say the victim was from the back of her head while she also sustained injuries on the neck and the back which were said to be inflicted by a sharp object. The police went back to Richard Alden’s residence and recovered a licensed gun, 34 rounds of ammunition and a spent cartridge. Wangechi’s clothes were found thrown all over the scene she is thought to have been murdered while Richard’s clothes were packed as he was planning to head to Nanyuki.

Nairobi Police Commander Japheth Koome has been quoted in The Telegraph saying that the two were having a relationship. 

“The man who took her to hospital was her boyfriend. I don’t know how long they were together for,” he is quoted saying. However, a close friend says she was not aware of any romantic relationship as the man is married with three grown children. The two are said to have met through a hiking group that takes trips around Kenya. According to nearby guards, the usually take morning jogs together.

Richard who is married has maintained that Grace was just a friend. He will be arraigned in court today to face murder charges.His story has attracted international attention being published in Daily Mail and Telegraph.
