The Kenyatta’s Family Do Not Make It In The Latest Top 50 Richest Africans In A List Dominated By Whites And Politicians

Late last year Forbes released an updated list of the richest people in Africa and it was quite revealing.

Only two Kenyans made the top 50 while none was in the top ten. Coming at a time when previous inclusion of some members of the Kenyatta family in the list had caused a furor, it is interesting that this time even with politicians making it, the family did not feature anywhere.

The only Kenyans who made it in the list were Narendra Naval and Naushad Merali. The list is also quite dominated by the South African white tycoons although the richest man remain Aliko Dangote by quite a mile.
