Kenyan Women Fight Over KDF Soldier Property

Just a few weeks after the sad loss of Kenyan soldiers through an Al Shabab attack, two women are fighting for the wealth of their husband.

The women, one Jescah Kiplagat and another Doris Jepkoech have taken each other to court over their husband multi-million property in Utawala. The husband Mr. Sammy Morell was one of the unfortunate brave soldiers who were killed in Somalia.

Trouble started when Kiplagat tried to access the property only to find Jepkoech in place. She proceeded to caught claiming that Jepkoech who is a police officer had grabbed her home and other properties in Utawala.

She claims Jepkoech had assaulted her and was capable of using her position to intimidate and steal from her. On her turn, Jepkoech reported the matter to the police accusing Kiplagat of trespassing on her property.

Jescah says she was married to Morell in 2007 and had amassed the wealth together until his untimely death while accusing Jepkoch of causing conflict in her marriage leading to a love triangle. The matter now awaits court resolution.
