Nyali MP Awiti Bolo may not have been a household name before but sure now he is well known.

This is after the MP decided to make a clown of himself albeit in a well meaning manner when asked to welcome the president at function. Well, unlike most coastal politicians who stick to their flowery Swahili, Awiti Bolo chose to go with the Queen’s language and my did he do injustice to the whole language.

It left people cringing and in stitches and even the Head of State could do little but burst out laughing with his wife. It was quite a perfomance and by the time you get the gist of what the MP is saying you are pretty worn out in laughter. Here is the video
