Njaanuary Claims Its First Victims! 2 Men Clobbered To Death Over 170/- Beer

The month after the merry making always has its shares of blues and tribulations for many, but even then it never gets to a matter of life and death literally.

For two young men however, their thirst for the devil’s bottle was the cause for their demise. The two, one Peter Muchai and his friend James Ndichu met their death when they were allegedly caught in the act of stealing a beer from a liquor store through the roof.

A woman and a young man are said to have descended on the two with blows and sticks beating them to a pulp attracting quite a mammoth crowd. Their bodies were later dumped in a dump site before being collected by the police and taken to the City Mortuary.

The incident which happened in Kwamaiko shopping center attracted the crowd who ended up looting too only until police came and the MCA asked them to be calm while investigations were carried out.
