Kidero hana kakitu! President Uhuru’s henchman spends Kes 85 million within an hour
While Dr. Evan Kidero promised to bankroll Raila Odinga’s fourth stab at the presidency, Uhuru Kenyatta’s pointman is blowing 85 million for a noble cause.
All folks who declared interest to vie for Nairobi gubernatorial seat are stinking rich with exception of the likes of Miguna Miguna, Sakaja and Bishop Margaret Wanjiru.
Dagoretti South MP Dennis Waweru declared interest to unseat Kidero but many wondered whether the first time MP had the financial might to challenge the Nairobi governor.
While many thought the right cards Waweru could play was his close association with President Uhuru Kenyatta, the politician now appears to be using money to woo electorates.

Hon. Waweru caused a stir when he spent Kes 85 million in a fundraiser over the past weekend for the construction of St Timothy Anglican University in Nairobi.
Tuko reports that the Dagoretti South MP values education so much that he raised the 85 million within an hour for the construction of the varsity.

The philanthropic MP has also promised to contribute another ‘lump sum’ to support Beth Mugo Cancer Foundation; the fundraiser will be held on October 15th in Dagoretti South.
