Kenya Airways Plane Raided By Ugandan Commandos Upon Touching Down At Entebbe International Airport (Photos)

Is President Museveni going bananas?? His security officers who were disguising as Civil Aviation officials raided Kenya Airways plane to ‘kidnap’ a passenger who was on board our national carrier.

Both the Ugandan army and police were at Entebbe International Airport waiting for Kenya Airways plane to touch down.

One passenger on board Kenya Airways plane, President Museveni’s arch political rival, was the reason why Ugandan security forces were at Entebbe.

Ugandan leading newspaper, Daily Monitor, says that the country’s commandos dressed in Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) uniforms, raided the Kenya Airways plane on landing at Entebbe International Airport to arrest Dr. Kizza Bisigye.

Besigye, who was returning to Uganda after a six-week overseas trip in US and UK, was bundled out of KQ’s plane like a common criminal and whisked to the nearby Old Entebbe Airport terminal where he was transferred into a police car.

A convoy of siren-blaring police vehicles then escorted the Ugandan opposition leader out of the airport and dumped him at his home.

Apparently Ugandan police ‘abducted’ Besigye to disrupt a mega ‘welcome back home’ party that the opposition party, Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), had planned ahead of Besigye’s arrival.

Journalists who were waiting for Besigye’s at the airport were also not allowed to cover the unexpected twist in events.
