“Someone Help…” Citizen TV’s Lillian Muli Pleads For Help After Getting Stranded In Mombasa For 6 LONG Hours

Lillian Muli was part of the Citizen TV crew that flew to Mombasa to anchor weekend news from the Coastal City. But disaster struck when she was returning to the capital.

Kenya Airways flights were cancelled last Sunday due to technical hitches. Passengers flying domestic routes were left cursing the national carrier after they got stranded at various airports for at least six hours.

Citizen TV’s Lillian Muli who was on duty in Mombasa was among those who were severely affected by KQ’s flight cancellation.

Lillian, Kanze Dena, Lulu Hassan among other Citizen TV crew were in Mombasa since Friday for a special assignment.

The crew was to catch a flight back to the capital when they got stranded at Moi International Airport after KQ cancelled its flights.

After hours of waiting, Lillian decided to highlight the situation at the airport on her twitter handle;

“I am at Moi International airport Mombasa passengers have been stranded here since 1 p.m. jambo jet and kenya airways passengers affected.” One of her tweets read.

“Someone help it’s been 6 hours stuck at Moi international airport” Lillian tweets kept on coming.
