Eye sore as Senators and MCA’s skip summit in mombasa to bask in the sun in swimsuits at Paradise beach all at the expense of Taxpayers money (photos)
The second annual legislative summit is currently ongoing in Paradise Beach resort in Mombasa but unfortunately there is no one in attendance.
As it was revealed by the National Cohesion and Integration commission Chairman Francis Ole Kaparo, Senators and MCA’s who the summit is meant for are busy basking and flaunting their big tummies at the beach.
He’s angered by the fact that the legislators were taken there to at great expense to debate on important matters affecting their respective Counties only for them to turn the whole escapade into a leisure escapade.
At a great cost, Kenyans brought you here to participate in this important meeting. You came here by air, air ticket paid for you, you were booked in luxurious 5 star hotels but the seats are empty here” He tore at the legislators.
He also added that it was about time Mombasa stopped being considered as a place to hold such meetings as they should be moved to National parks as the legislators would find it hard to loiter around with wild animals.
Here are some photos of the legislators having a great time courtesy of Kevin Odit:
