Controverial businessman Paul Kobia released on bail after kidnapping a Congolese man who allegedly owes him Ksh 40 million
Paul Kobia has once more found himself in trouble after he was accused of trying to kidnap a man who owes him about ksh 40 Million.
According to the reports making rounds on social media, Kobia is said to have abducted Congolese businessman Bachard Londole from his house at Kindaruma road and threatened him with a gun.
During that process, Londole apparently got hurt and was rushed to Nairobi Women’s hospital where he was reported to have received multiple head injuries that saw him get admitted for further treatment.
Kobi was however arrested yesterday and arraigned in court today with four other suspects Alvin Anzaya, Nelson Muyi, John Mutwiri and Martin Mwangi who were present during the abduction and are said to be Kobia’s employees.
The Controversial businessman was however set free on a cash bail of 100k and bond of 200K for the other four suspects as they are believed to have helped their boss attack the Congolese fella.
Kobia and his men were however lucky as the Milimani Resident Magistrate Miriam Mugure granted them a cash bail after the police had insisted on havng him locked up for 14 days to help with the investigation.
