Ringtone has set the trend which should be emulated by fellow Christians. The gospel singer yesterday was in court to ‘exonerate’ the man who broke into his Karen home.
Ringtone has had several court cases in which he was either the accused or the plaintiff. The gospel singer was once again in court yesterday, but this time he went to vindicate a suspect in a case that he was involved.
Ringtone was the plaintiff in a court case which one Peter Kalwenye was accused of breaking into his house on May 16th.
Peter, who was hired to construct a perimeter wall around the house of ‘Tenda Wema’ hit maker in Karen, was accused of stealing a Sony TV and water pump worth Kes Sh349,000.
Ringtone yesterday told the presiding magistrate, Derrick Kuto, that he had decided to withdraw the case against the accused as he had forgiven him.
Only if other gospel artists could follow in his footsteps…
