Najib Balala a former confidant and great supporter of Raila Odinga has spoken up on issues concerning Raila, his candidature and the 2017 elections.

Najib Balala was speaking in a candid interview with Tuko when he revealed that the leader of ODM was stingy and demanding. Mr. Balala was quoted saying Raila is opportunistic and cunning. Among the things he had an issue with was Raila’s abandoning Ruto of which he said ‘

“I felt angry after he abandoned William Ruto during his case at the International Criminal Court.When we were campaigning  for him,

“we were one but after what happened after the disputed elections ,he isolated himself and it become an individual issue,he mistreated us and dismissed us.Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) is a symbol of impunity of chaos”

On Raila’s giving, Balala said the CORD supremo was mean as well as very demanding when invited to harambees.

“Have you ever heard Raila attending a fundraiser or donating? You invite Raila for a function and he tells you to hire a chopper for him and a briefcase”

According to Balala, Raila will lose the election due to age and fading ability and will never endorse his co-principals. Balala said the only politician who can give them a genuine race is Mudavadi whom he describes as an honest person and friend.
