Ghafla Exclusive: TV Stations Turn Their Back On Frasha And Gabu’s Kes 1.2 Million X-Rated Song “Wabe”

It’s heartbreaking for Frasha and Gabu to invest million of shillings in their new song only for TV stations to blacklist it!

Frasha and Gabu’s 3 week old “Wabe” is surely a club banger, views on YouTube also assert the song is a dope hit.

The video was shot at X Millionaires nightclub on Baricho Road and it features some exotic dancers pulling up some really sexy dance moves.

Gabu and Frasha reportedly spent Kes 1.2 million to shoot the video whose quality is extra superb. But surprisingly “Wabe” isn’t being played on local TV stations.

Mseto East Africa’s Mzazi Willy Tuva told Ghafla! he couldn’t play “Wabe” on his show on Citizen TV because the show aired at a time when programmes with adult content could not broadcast.

Kenya Film Classification Board(KFCB) boss recently cracked the whip on errant TV station and journalists for airing adult content at a time when children are active on TV and radio.

The pragmatic KFCB boss is strict about having adult content airing on TV and radio only during watershed period.

Back to “Wabe”; Ghafla! contacted Gabu to seek his comment about his song being blacklisted on TV stations.

Gabu was surprised with the move by local TV stations saying “Wabe” was being played on Trace Urban. He also disclosed MTV would also start playing his song soon.

It should be noted that this is the second time Gabu and Frasha are having their song banned on TV. “You Guy” was banned way back in 2013.
