Classic FM’s Larry Asego is sitting in for Maina Kageni (Maina has taken a sabbatical) on his morning show on Classic FM.

Larry yesterday made a big mess while trying to engage the audience on a topic that has been dominating headlines in Kenya.

The recent cases of increased arson attacks in High Schools was the topic of discussion on Classic FM. Larry innocently asked whether kids from single mothers should be blamed for torching schools.

Larry poked the question on twitter and soon an online onslaught was launched against him for ‘looking down’ on single moms.

Caroline Mutoko had to jump in to save Larry explaining that the tweet by the Classic FM presenter was an error.

Meanwhile Larry desperately apologized for the blunder countless times.
