Apparently the singer almost caused a stampede after he randomly requested a few fans to join him on stage while he was performing.
As expected a crowd of fans rushed to join the gospel singer but the bouncers were too quick to control the crowd allowing only a few to get to where Jimmy Gait was.
Just any wealthy and generous artiste, Jimmy Gait announced that he had called up the fans to appreciate them as he handed each around Ksh. 20,000.
This not only suprised the crowd but also the artiste who had been invited to perform at the gospel show. Apart from just giving out money word has it that Jimmy Gait threw his expensive watch to the crowd and one of the many fans who had availed themselves at the party walked away with a watch of unknown value.
