Ugandan opposition party, Forum for Democratic Change (FDC), yesterday rushed to swear in Kizza Besigye as president of Uganda before the incumbent president Museveni is sworn in. Museveni will be sworn in sometimes today and both the EU and US are not invited, i hear Uhuru will be there to represent Kenya. Meanwhile Uganda police who were caught unaware by Besigye’s swearing-in ceremony reacted fast by arresting the opposition leader.
