Win Win For Gays, Lesbians And Straight After Google Finally Decided To Act With Solomonic Wisdom On Controversial Kenyan Video Which Depicted Homosexual Nudity and Pornography

The sight of homosexuals going at each other in the video sparked outrage as homophobic and Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) piled pressure on Google to pull down the video.

“Same Love Remix” sparked public outcry when it was released mid February this year. The song was all about gay and lesbian couples expressing their love freely like straight couples.

Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) was quick to ban the controversial song from Kenyan media and also asked Google which owns YouTube to pull down “Same Love Remix” from the online video sharing site.

Google were initially reluctant to act on “Same Love Remix” even though KFCB persistently asked them to do so.

But in a new twist of events, Google has decided to push “Same Love Remix” to the age-restricted section. It means if you search “Same Love Remix” on YouTube and click on the link, you will be warned that the content may not be appropriate therefore you will need to click on ‘continue’ button if you wish to proceed to watch the video.

Now homophobic persons will not have to watch the video if they don’t want to unlike before when “Same Love Remix” was openly accessible to anyone.

Google’s decision is a win win for folks of all sexual orientations, the video stays for gays and Lesbos to watch while at same time it’s not ‘easily’ accessible leaving Mutua and his team happy.
