Diamond Reveals Why He’s The Most Affected By Papa Wemba’s Sudden Death As He Mourns Him

Tanzanian music great Diamond Platnumz had a song with fallen Congolese singer Papa Wemba which he was forced to release prematurely following the sudden death of Papa Wemba.

Congolese music maestro Papa Wemba collapsed and died last Sunday while performing at a concert in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Papa Wemba’s sudden demise shocked many as he didn’t have known medical conditions that posed a threat to his life.

Among those ‘severely’ affected by Wemba’s death is Diamond Platnumz who had a project in pipeline with the fallen singer.

Diamond says Papa Wemba featured him in a collaboration that they did when they met in Paris, France.

“Just four weeks ago we were in Paris, featured me in his song and we planned alot for the song and Suddenly got the news….dah! still don’t want to believe that you are really Gone Legend….We will always miss you … ‪#‎RipPapaWemba” Diamond disclosed.
