Woman abandons newborn baby in Lagos

According to  an Instagram user, , at about 8:45am on Friday, November 11, 2016, where it was dumped by its wicked mother by some passersby who called the attention of  health workers at the Ikosi-Isheri Local Council Development Area, who promptly picked the baby and took her to a hospital for treatment.

The issue of women abandoning their newborn babies has been rearing its ugly head for many years and it seems the government and society have no immediate remedy for this.
