Here is what Khalwale had to say about Karua’s decision to back Uhuru

Kakamega Senator Bonny Khalwale has dismissed Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua’s decision to ’s 2017 re-election bid.
Khalwale said that Karua’s decision to support Uhuru’s presidential bid was of no political consequence to the Cord coalition since she brought no votes to them.
The “bull fighter” Khalwale tweeted
Karua had for some time joined up with Cord leaders led by their principals Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Moses Wetang’ula in castigating the Jubilee Government especially on issues relating to corruption and electoral reforms.
Karua and the Cord leaders were behind the successful push of the disbandment of the Isaack Hassan led Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) team.

The Narc Kenya leader last week declared that she will support President Uhuru Kenyatta’s 2017 re-election bid and will vie for the position but on a Narc Kenya ticket and not the Jubilee Party.
She is expected to face stiff competition from former Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Anne Waiguru in order to try unseat the incumbent Governor Joseph Ndathi.
Karua said she had decided to back Mr Kenyatta because he is the choice of Kirinyaga people.
 she said.
