Lot has been said about TV sweethearts Betty Kyallo and Dennis Okari ever since unconfirmed news broke that their marriage had hit rock bottom.

In his column on Daily Nation, Larry Madowo addressed Betty Kyallo/Dennis Okari’s said separation when he was bashing Kenyans for poking their noses into famous persons’ weddings.

“Why this obsession with the weddings of famous people?” Larry titled his headline.

In the article, Larry expressed his shock with how people scandalized Betty and Dennis’ separation rumors.

Larry confirmed Betty Kyallo and Dennis Okari were still living together though he didn’t mention whether they indeed had issues as people were saying.

“It is the same weekend that attention returned to TV reporters Betty Kyalo’s and Dennis Okari’s union, supposedly on its death bed. The schadenfreude was among the worst I have seen for a group that has made happiness at someone else’s misfortune a national sport.

The speculation hit fever pitch even though the couple has not publicly commented on their union and still live together. In the brave new world of social media, a lie repeated enough times becomes a fact, however far from the truth it might be.” Larry wrote in part.
