5 times Jeff Koinange has found himself in hot soup for silly mistakes in 2016 alone

Legendary talk show host Jeff Koinange has been in trouble one too many times for mistakes he could easily avoid. Below are some of the unwise things Jeff did that landed in hot soup:
On Wednesday night May 18 2016, Jeff Koinange hosted businessman Tony Gachoka on his eponymous show.
Gachoka, who was presumably under the influence of alcohol, was hyper throughout the show. Towards the end of the show, he stood up and left Jeff talking to himself.
Everybody thought Gachoka had walked out on Jeff but surprisingly he returned on the show two minutes later. Many speculated he had gone to pee.
“Do I look drunk?” Gachoka replied when Jeff asked him whether he had taken one too many for the road.
KOT was quick to roast Jeff for hosting a drunk guest who ended up spewing incoherent words throughout the show.

Jeff and Tony Gachoka were arrested in May 2016 after they defied court orders requiring them not to discuss the conduct of Kwacha Group of Companies on television.
Businessman Jimi Wanjigi, his brother Sani Mbui Wanjigi and the Kwacha Group of Companies, sought court order blocking Jeff and Tony from discussing the conduct of Kwacha Group of companies, but they went on to talk about the company on JKL on April 1.
Jeff and Tony were arrested and fined 2 million shillings for disobeying the court order. They would have served a six month prison term if they hadn’t paid the fine.

Jeff came under heavy fire when he hosted Central Organization of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary-General Francis Atwoli on JKL on September 14 2016.
Jeff ruffled Kenyans’ feathers when he asked Atwoli whether the country was ready for a Muslim president. His question was in relation to Hassan Joho’s announcement that he would be contesting for presidency in 2022.
Jeff’s question attracted criticismsespecially from members of the Muslim community who interpreted the question as light Islamophobia twisted to sound like a harmless question.
Jeff tricked Boniface Mwangi into having an interview with Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria against his wish.
The November 3 incident saw the Rights Activist walk out of JKL leaving Jeff begging him to return but Boniface made it clear he couldn’t sit on the same bench with a hate speech propagandist.
