Boniface Mwangi is sitting for his KCSE exams now and William Ruto may be one of the factors that prevent him to do well here is why
Boniface Mwangi has gone back to school for his KCSE exams. The acclaimed photographer revealed to the Sunday Nation Lifestyle that he is among the examinees sitting for this year’s KCSE exams.
He has been taking his exams at the Visionary Tuition Center in South B Nairobi.
Boniface who has won numerous accolades as a photojournalist winning local and international awards revealed that he feels lucky to have accomplished so much without such the KCSE certificate.
Boniface Mwangi was expelled from form one in high school 18 years ago. His hard work and persistence saw him work for leading dailies and other publication in the country.
He revealed that somoen believed in him and he was able to study journalism in college before joining New York University to do Journalism Photography and human rights.
 
It is not been easy for him however. He reveals that he has been forced to wake up early and sleep late as he juggles his papers and his work. His court case with William Ruto has also added to his burden.
He revealed he had planned to take a sabbatical but when Ruto sued him he was not able to as his lawyer needed him to conduct media research on the case.
The appearances in court and looking for facts to back up his case have taken much time as well as wear him while preparing for such crucial examinations
His kids have been supportive giving him a success card and also setting standards which he is afraid he may not meet.
His results will be eagerly awaited like those of gospel star Willy Paul though he has said he will not mind whatever they are as they are not the end of life
