This Sniper Has Killed 173 ISIS Fighters, 13 More Than The American Navy SEAL Soldier Whom The Movie ‘American Sniper’ Was Based On (Photos+Video)

Christopher ‘Chris’ Scott Kyle was a United States Navy SEAL and the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history, with over 160 kills officially confirmed by the Department of Defense.[sic]

Hollywood produced a blockbuster in 2014 dubbed ‘American Sniper’ which was based on Chris’ life during his deployment in Iraq to fight ISIS.

But while Chris was thought to be the sniper who downed most ISIS fighters, an Iraqi sniper claims he has killed 173 ISIS fighters since May 2015, 13 more than Chris.

Abu Tahseen who is a member of the Hashd Al-Shaabi Shia militia who are fighting ISIS in northern Iraq says he hold the record as the sniper who has killed most ISIS fighters.
